A film by Sharif Christopher Matar, Trapped tells the story of a woman who is a victim of Domestic Violence.Technically, the
term refers to any form of domestic violence- be it mental, physical, financial
or even emotional. The violence maybe perpetrated by anyone against any other,
in a domestic setting, and includes anything from the denigration of honour to
the deprivation of access to monetary resources requisite for a normal life. In
reality, not many women are lucky.
