Around the world, as many as
one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex, or abused in some
other way - most often by someone she knows, including by her husband or
another male family member; one woman in four has been abused during pregnancy.
Many women and girls are harmed by the violence in their lives. Around the
world, there are 80 million unwanted pregnancies, 20 million unsafe abortions,
500,000 maternal deaths and 333 million new sexually transmitted disease every
year. Teenage girls are particularly at risk. The following are fact that violence against women :

would require several strategies to reduce and prevent violence against women which
is very necessary for every society around the world. from happening again the
violence of women and girls around the world. and as a punishment to the
"torturers" who commit acts so heinous that they must be punished as
heavy so do not do it. due to a variety of psychological problems in the
natural victims of violence is very disturbing their lives. of us to cherish
