The Sisterhood Is Global Institute/Jordan "Tadamon" has called for an effective media strategy to focus on women’s rights, protection, defense of their rights and to work for a society free of violence, discrimination and inequality.
In a press release on Saturday, Tadamon said that observers of media outlets in Jordan have noticed the wide coverage of issues directly related to women’s rights, as well as programs, seminars, workshops, conferences and training courses by governmental, non-governmental organizations and civil societies concerned with women’s rights.
"A number of female journalists highlight the need to empower women in the political, economic, social, and cultural fields, as well as in the interest of society, by putting women’s issues in the forefront of events, on the table of decision making and in front of public opinion," the press release added.
