WHO concerned about drug-resistant tuberculosis, lack of adequate care
The number of tuberculosis cases and deaths dropped in 2012, but the World Health Organization says more must be done to provide adequate care for estimated 3 million untreated tuberculosis patients who live in rural areas. Donors and aid groups in Afghanistan are working to help women continue to progress after NATO troops leave the country in 2014.
