This Video About Women's Rights Will Both Inspire And Infuriate You

Women may have made massive strides in the fight for equal rights, but if this PSA teaches us anything, it's that there's still a long way to go.
A new video by UN Women celebrates pioneering females, such as Amelia Earhart, Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova and Olympian Sarah Attar, before showing viewers sexist terms and phrases formed by Google autocomplete.
The PSA is a follow-up to UN Women's much buzzed-about print campaign. In the ads, women's faces were matched with misogynistic phrases apparently conjured by the search engine when people typed in beginnings such as "women cannot" and "women shouldn't."
The takeaway from the new video is simple: "[At] this point in history, popular perception should be different and women should be seen as equal," the clip's YouTube description notes.
We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
