"Energy Drinks and ADHD"

Energy drinks, coffee, tea, yerba mate, coke, pepsi and other energy drinks that support your energy during the day have made it possible for you to stay awake during the day without any sleep.  Or some sleep. Caffeine as well all know it, is added to drinks like Coke and Pepsi. Even Mountain Dew.

Caffeine as we all know it affects the central nervous system. Caffeine stimulative effects hail from both a reduction in the obstruction by adenosine and constraint of neuronal activity. Stated Wikipedia. Wikipedia also stated that, there are four known adenosine receptors, in which can make you addicted to caffeine. A1 and A 2A are two subtypes. that caffeine ( theoretically ) antagonizes. And in which creates this addiction. 

Taking over 300 mg off approximately three cups off coffee , tea or Coke can give the drinker a headache, migraine, and intoxication can be the number one cause in three cups of expresso. 

Science and statistics show that children who have ADHD show signs of ADHD later in adult hood wills how signs of addiction. Addiction can include, drug abuse, and even alcoholism. Statistics and research shows. 

It is also very common that it shows that , statistics say that, it's common children with ADHD is five to ten times among adult alcoholics then it is with people among with the condition it's self. 

Research asks this very intense question of why do people with ADHD usually have this addiction problem? 

WEBMD answers this question. People with ADHD tend to be more impulsive and likely to have behavior problems, both of which can contribute to drug and alcohol abuse, researchers say. Also, both ADHD and alcoholism tend to run in families. A child with ADHD who has a parent with alcoholism is more likely to also develop an alcohol abuse problem. Researchers have pointed to common genes shared between ADHD and alcoholism.

There are a few offices regarding these issues. These offices are that include, "Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights " , Of Anti - Trafficking Legislative Review. " and a few others that exist as of today.


United Nations released a pdf file of guide lines to prevent such thing as women trafficking.
Each state must follow this protocol, United Nations stated. The protocol as follows goes, each state must address all aspects of trafficking in person, concerns, recalling general assembly 53/111  of 9 December 1998.

 Also the first protocol for the United Nations to follow is "The Religion with the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime. " And there are over  a few articles written in the United Nations agenda rule of book.

Jane Adams, Susan B Anthony, Mary Antoinette, Saint Jone of Arc, Aspasia of Miletus, Clara Barton and many more are all women of faces of American history. Jane Adams who was born in September 6th, 1860 of a small town of Cedarville , Illinois was one of eight children.  In 1931, Jane received a Nobel Prize for all she did which included her work with written books on prostitution, women's rights, juvenile delinquency , and militarism, who which she was very nobel for.

Susan B Anthony was very well known for her roll in creating the Women's State Temperance Society. She was also a part of Anti - Slavery Society from 1856 to 1861. Who she later wrote the Susan B. Anthony amendment in 1878. The amendment was the revision of the sixteenth amendment, which stated," The Right of citizens to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any states on account of sex. "

The nineteenth amendment is a law that allows the state to determine the qualifications for voting,  and until the 1910 most states disenfranchised women. The Civil War hit hard on women. The thirteen, fourteen and fifteenth amendments suffrages as civil rights laws. But was hard to attain as the real amendment for the nineteenth amendment.


When congress proposed the nineteenth amendment on June 4th, 1919, the thirty six states also passed the amendment within periods of times.

Poverty in the USA

Poverty in America has been standing still since the Great Depression.  In August of 1929, the worlds most powerful nation, United States came under a Great Depression where it became the most poorest country in the world. The Great Depression has created economical downfalls that has postponed and helped to reduce spending, falling confidence, and lowered production. ( Says wikipedia. ) 

Wikipedia states that, when recession of 1937 brought back 1934 levels of unemployment, our economy just went back up in a spiral upward back in 2012, when President Barack Obama became the first African American President of the United States of America ever in history of nations of Presidents. He is the 44th President of the United States. 

There are many theories that caused the Great Depression back in the beginning of 1929, where our President Bill Clinton grew up during the depression, who then, later in life became the President and later was impeached in 1998. 

The theories behind the Great Depression which lead America in to poverty, has been named as , orthodox classical economics, monetarist, Keynesian, Austrian Economics, and many, many more.

The political results were a great out come during the Great Depression and after. The Great Depression was a tough and a horrible time that when American citizens suffered greatly during the depression. Although, it did more good then bad. Great Depression helped to set minimum wage, says wikipedia. It also helped to encourage unions that it would raise wage to workers and their employers to create possible living wages for Americans that were suffering greatly in the Depression it's self. Like, President Bill Clinton who was born on August 19th, 1946  in Chester Hospital in Hope, of a town of about nine children of a poor farmer in Sherman Texas who later died when his father was seventeen.   ( Says Bill Clinton auto biography. ) 

The crash of Wall street which was titled as " The Great Depression " has downsized the American economy from $103.6 billion  in 1929 to $66 billion in 1934 says a website (www. shmop.com)

Poverty, Way of Life

The point of this article is to inform and to ensure that mothers and their young children living on the edge of poverty iwll no longer be faceless strangers. 

On January 20th, 2013, President Barack Obama released his weekly address. He stated that " As part of that reform, we set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the first - ever independent consumer watch dog with one job; to protect families from that sort of behavior. " stated Obama . 

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau version 2 was released on October 31st, 2012 of the CFPB. ( says the consumer finance website. ) 

The website lets the citizens acknowledge their information by holding PDF files from Mortgage Originated examination procedures, Education loans, and even RESPA procedures are included as well. 

These laws should be followed by companies of financial protection laws.

The economist states that, " two years after house pries ended their preciption fall, housing across America is beginning to look frothy again. New data released by Standard & Poor's on February 20th showed the Case. Shiller index of 20 cities rising in December at the fastest rate for nine month, in part due  to the bitterly cold weather and higher mortgage rates, prices in some cities continued to increase. In Chicago, house prices rose at their fastest rate since 1988. Could America in the midst of another housing bubble? Stated the economist website. 

Some facts caught my eye from the book " Through My Own Eyes on page four. 

" Children living in single parent homes are much more likely than children in two - parent homes to suffer from the constraints of poverty : almost half of all black and one- fourth of all white females headed households live below the poverty line. The share of children living in poverty has crept steadily upward since the 1960's. 

President Bill Clinton who himself was born of August 9th, 1946 under a clear sky after a violent summer storm to a widowed mother in the Julia Chester Hospital in Hope, a town of about six thousand in southern Arkansas was born there. 

" In , My Life, Bill Clinton " book states that he was raised in poverty during the war when his father, William was raised in poverty during the war when his father, William Jefferson the III went off to war in the invasion of Italy.

Health awareness

There isn't always enough information about retirement age online or in written books. What if one can't work or is on disability. And now, any one that is with Obamacare health insurance, what is their new status on retirement and what is their age requirements for retired state employees? 

America's Legislative retirement system is much different than let's say, Canada's or another state in the country. PERS stands for, PUblic Employee's Retirement System. There is a handbook that provides a summary description of the benefits of a plan that outlines the rules and regulations governing the plan. 

A member for PERS has access for pension membership and health benefits that a member can access their records. (If applicable)

The New Jersey's Public Employee's Retirement System ( PERS ) was created on September 2011. And the membership consists of five tiers. And the membership consists of five tiers. 

With NJ PERS retirement age, you must be with age of 55 to start. Have final average salary and have maximum annual allowance. Also, for age sixty, one must have final average salary and a maximum annual allowance with 22 years of service and one will receive 22/55 or 40% of Final Average Salary for a Tier 1 member.  

Obamacare was passed on October 29, 2009 and passed on November 7th, during the 1st session of the 111th Congress. 

What caught my eye is the guaranteed issues such as any pre existing conditions under Obamacare that says, every one must obtain insurance by 2014  or pay a fee. 

With the pre existing conditions will go in to affect with Medicaid & CHIR , Medicare and other insurance that are included to cover pre existing conditions.

Women and leadership

As a woman my self in the United States, legally, we have every single right to work , and do as men do in the states of America. But, when the mention comes to Iran talks, its' a completely different situation and both countries are taking legal actions to help women become better civilians in Iran. 

Back in the Persian Constitutional Revolution in 1905-11 women in Iran played a crucial roll in history of women's rights. During the Pahlavi era ( 1925 - 1979 ) women had freedom. Marriage law is another different topic for Iranian women. 

In Iran, the prenuptial document has been signed in to law back in 1997 and the divorce law's were modified in 1967. 

The roll in Iranian women was and still is very important. Their beauty, their knowledge and their persistence still prides us, and changes history every day. 

In the United States, women have never been President or a top leader in the states.  Although Susan Rice who is the United States National Security Advisor, and Hillary Clinton who is a Senator in New York have made great strides in the political agenda in the American history.

Mother Nature

When Mother Nature decides to hit, it's the most dangerous moments to live through in history. And, the most expensive. Not only , it's expensive, but, the world we live in, can cause an epidemic. Mother nature comes in small, sizes, and it happens to humans. And animals like mammals. A magnetite earth quake has hit with magnetite of 5. 7. With the depth of 9.8 km. These earthquakes create Tsunami's. And these tsunami's create flood's in places like, Hawaii, Philippine's,  and other water surrounded countries that are in danger of receiving earthquakes and the after math of an earth quake. 

I've been once told , don't play with the Ouija board. It's as real as it gets. There are many speculations that evil and spiritual creatures get released from the board. And crisis happens in the family and the town they live at. 

Earth quake report states that, in Uganda, of Gulu University, a citizen was in the fourth floor of a hotel room when he was being rescued from a shattering building . The next thing he saw was, his PC's shaking in the room. He ran to look outside to see what was happening, an earth quake. His only words that came to his mind. 

Him and other guys were hustling down the stairs immediately reached down to the ground floor. The earthquake then happened again during the day. Ntinda Kalinabiri stated that, " Even the birds in the tree outside the house were scared and made noises when long after the tremor stopped. The heaviest piece in her dining room started to shake during the earth quake. 

Another case stated that, Kampala spoke out to a reporter that  another third earthquake has happened in the past week. The experience of an earth quake has happened more than twice during the week yet alone. 

These earthquakes do not stop. They continue, because Earth is just as a living creature as humans and animals that live on Earth. At any time, the weather can decide to change without a warning. And can change history.

Say Yes To Your Phone.

When you wonder about technology, and you worry that you might get edicted to it, like facebook, or blogging or anything else like gmail through your blogging. I say, hey, " How's your relationship with your phone doing? How long you have been going out with him/ her? "

Every one says that age doesn't matter. But, does it matter when you're dating your phone? Would some one actually compare your relationship with your boyfriend or your mother , ( chuckles. ) Or would you say that , the author of this article is over exaggerating. I say no. We spend most of our lives on the phone! We sleep next to it. It wakes us up. Then the phone tells you when to text, when to look on your cell phone because you got an e-mail from work or anything else that is catchy.

Cell phones are just any other businesses. But so are dating websites. Hmmm. Facebook. You're always on your facebook. How is a third world country different then a first class country that constantly uses their cell phones?

Is there anything different then a woman who uses an updated phone or a high school girl who just uses the phone to text her friends constantly.

Sex. Sex is an addiction just like cell phone usage. When you use your phone constantly, you could in a way date it. 

Pregnancy and the Political Debate

When one is married or not married, and the other get's pregnant, it's still a very heated political debate. Majority of politicians are men. Just recently, washington post did a poll review where it hasn't been this clear in 30 years, where polls showed where Democrats or Republicans stood in which direction to vote for with the many issues happening presently in 2014. Such issues that have occurred with the Republican candidate in New Jersey over Hurricane Sandy Funds which raised a lot of eye brows and questions to Federal judges and investigators. 

When one becomes pregnant while married, who has a right to decide whether or not it's illegal or legal to give abortion to a mother. Let's say something happens to the mother where the mother ends to be in an emergency room. There have been cases such as a brain dead mother who has been taken off life support gave birth to twins . An article written by Kristina Jovanoski in daily mail reported that a 31 year old mother suffered a stroke and became brain dead when 15 weeks pregnant. 

By 15 week pregnancy , the mother has gained already around 2. 2 kg and 4.5 kg and the baby only waits around 70g and measures at 91. cm long. At 14 weeks, the baby starts to fully develop his or her features such as parchment-thin skin which starting to cover itself with ultra-fine, downy ( hair ) ( lanugo ) that usually disappears before birth. Then, the tiny eye brows start to shape and form. Your baby can then, grasp, squint , frown and grimace. 

Between weeks of 11 and 13 a nuchal translucency scan is offered by the doctor to get tested for Down Syndrome. 

The 31 year old mother was kept alive on life support when she did not give birth to twins. Unfortunately, at 15 weeks, one of her babies did not survive. Although, in the 27 week, the baby was born that weighted at 3lb ( 1.5kg) and needed respiratory support. When the baby was born , it started kicking and cried a loud cry. 

CNN states that, "The U.S  abortion rate is at its lowest point since 1973. In 2011 , there were fewer than  17 terminations of every 1,000 women. Which was a fall of 13% since 2008. 

And if you are unmarried and are sexually active, you should use protection. Doctors state and educators also claim that a method for birth control must be used if one is not married and is sexually active. 

There are many, many birth control types. Birth control has been an issue since  1950's. Which has been an issue rising since then. Katherine McCormick who was an activist in 1950 who gave her time and money for abortion rights and the problem of birth control. 

Back in 1950 the Church was against birth control who later sanctioned the one approval by the Roman's of the natural use of birth control. 

Democrats state, that because the fetus can live outside the womb, between the first and second trimester, or six months , the woman has a right to chose. In 2000, the Supreme Court has banned the partial birth 

abortions which was a decision made between Stenberg vs Carhart. Republicans are for abortion.

Fight against Sexual Assault.

" Sexual assault is an affront to our basic dependency  and humanity. And it's about all of us - the safety of those we love most : our moms, our wives , our daughters and our sons. " - President Obama spoke in his January 25th, 2014 weekly address.

When it comes to talking about sex, in most religions, sex is rather a negative connotation. Religion mentions dueteronomic codes such as, polygyny, transvestism, premarital sex, adultery, and natural emissions. Actions such as selling sex for money , pre-marital sex are all covenant codes in most religions. In Judaism, male homosexual acts, bestiality, divorce or even converts to Kohanim are forbidden. 

In 1 in 5 girls, 1 in 20 boys, are victims of sexual abuse. A self study shows that, 20% of adult females and 5-10% males say they were sexually abused. Reports, National Institute of Justice. 

Many women in the military try to commit suicide due to high rape statistics. Terri Odom, is one of the victims, where CNN reported a story on where she tried to commit suicide almost 100 times, since 1986 while serving the navy. 

" I tell people one thing. I tell my self this to. Take 10 minutes to think about it and you can talk your self out of it - - nothing happens after suicide. " Odom stated. 

The White House released statistics on sexual assault in colleges and universities. Statistics showed that, between 80 and 90 percent of campus sexual assaults happen between two people who know each other. 

President Barack Obama created a Memorandum where " The White House Task Force " created a " Protect Students from Sexual Assault Act.  Stated, The White House. 

Sexual assault comes in different types of forms and ways. Such as, rape, child sexual abuse, dating and domestic violence, partner rape, sexual harassment, stalking and much more. 

Sexual assault is unwanted sexual contact that stops short of rape or attempted rape. When a victim is raped, man or woman , one may decide to report the incident before or after saving anything that might contain the victim's DNA. 

Actions such as taking a shower or using a restroom, to combing hair might get rid of DNA. ( Evidence. ) Nearly 3. 4 million crimes have been unreported per year by the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Statistics show that, between 2006 and 2010  about 211,200 rape and sexual assaults have went unreported

A trbute to Martin Luther King

On a sunny day, of January 15th, 1929 a hero, an activist and an American pastor was born. Now, on every January 20th, America celebrates his dream. He wrote and spoke his biggest dream on August 28th , 1963 which he dreamed for end of racism.

And on January 20th, 2009 our first , African American President, Barack Obama made history by becoming the first, African American President of the United States of America. 

President Barack Obama who was born on August 4th, 1961 wouldn't know it , but he would be the first President and make Martin Luther King's dream come true. Almost fifty years later. This year, every one celebrates his victory with pride. 

President Barack Obama who went to Harvard Law School in 1988 when Russia became a Democratic History and when President George W. Bush met with Russian General Secretary after The Fall of Berlin War in 1989. 

Margret Thatcher who was a British politician of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of 20th century motivated George W. Bush to meet with Russian Soviet German Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev.

Fighting Bullying

To many freshman kids in college, it might be very exciting to become a freshman in college. The student get's to experience a new town, or their first class. Make some friends, and get to have some fun at a bar or out with their friends.  But , once you get to realize who's who in college, and if you get to meet the meanest kid in the block, or add your new friends on Face book, and that mean girl that cyber bullies every one she doesn't like, that could be a problem.

Bullying does not just happen to teens that attend, middle school, high school. It happens to adults. Adults who attend colleges or universities also believe it or not get picked on.  To those victims who tend to get bullied, might have low self esteem, come home all bruised and end up losing or come home without their lunch money or even their clothing.

I can give you an example. Tyler Clementi's sudden death that shook New Jersey state in the United States changed the governor's mind to further prevent bullying. He finally passed the "Anti - bullying law "    in 2011. PL 2010 Chapter 122 is the toughest law in the legislative history in the United  States legislature The Bullying Police in 2001 gave the anti bullying law A++ and  was finally passed after Tyler Clementi tragic death

"Bullying is not an answer!"

About 160,00 children in America miss school because of bullying. Nearly there are 2.1 million bullies and more victims ( 2.7 million ) are victims of bullying . Imagine that. Out of those 2.7 million students are physically attacked. Which is about 282,000 students that are physically attacked in schools. 

Bullying is considered as hitting, pushing, tripping, slapping, spitting, and bullying is also considered as stealing or destroying possession, including books, clothing, or even lunch money. Today, about 2.7 million's of American's are victims of bullying. About 282,00 of these American's are physically attacked in schools. These victims then become suspects in shootings such as the Nevada school shooting.

When authorities investigated the school shooting at the Sparks Middle School, took the gun from the parents and later shot him self. Federal law enforcement stated that " teachers are being trained to face school shooter. " 

I believe that these teachers should be trained to stop bullying. Maybe, they can prevent this type of bullying from creating the next victim or the next suspect for the next shooting. I think, there are some teachers out there that don't care about most students. They only care about their pay checks. I my self was bullied and I turned out not to bad.

I'm 26 years old, single, have no boyfriend but tones of friends that care and love me. That wasn't the case back then in middle school and high school. Bullying started for me in middle school. I don't know what gives others to instigate such a thing called bullying, but these kids also get it from their parents. Either their parents bullied others, and turned in to criminals or have a criminal record them selves from their own past issues, and their children tend to become just like their parents. 

These innocent victims turn out to be like the shooter in Nevada middle school shooting. Which happened on October 21st, where a student opened  fire in a middle school who killed a teacher and wounded two students.

Global Issues on Gender Rights and United States

In many countries issues of women's rights have made high concerns such as human trafficking, slavery, and forced labor a high concern for congress in the United States. In 2010, California was the first state to bring Business Transparency on Trafficking and Slavery Act in to action. It's a fact in the law that forced labor and slavery is the worse out of child labor.

Congress woman Carolyn Maloney who was recognized in 1992  for her roll as a national leader with extensive accomplishments on financial services, national security, the economy and women's issues. She is also the first woman to represent New York's 12th Congressional District; the first woman to represent new York's City's 7th Councilmanic district. Her work to help women motivates her to keep on going.

Not only Carolyn Maloney's roll is in history books today, but, on her activism " anti - homosexuality" that she helped to pass the law on which was placed in  Ugandan parliament . She is also a leader of organizations such as Immigration Equality, The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, Human Rights Watch, and Human Rights First, as well as Reverene Eugene Calendar who is a former longtime pastor at St. James Presbyterian.

United States concentrated on global rights and gender equality and is concentrating particularly in Afghanistan where Women's rights and gender equality less there then the states. Organizations such as  American Association of University, American Equality Rights Association, American Heritage Girls and American Women Suffrage Association are some of the women's rights organizations that promote women equality in America as off today. 

Women's Rights and gender equality is focusing more on Afghanistan women in Pakistan Global Rights opened in Morocco for their first field office in March of 200. The organization is working on urban and rural non-governmental organizations (NGO ) in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
